Job Title Project Manager

My client, a reputable business in the Gloucester area are looking for a project manager to be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Key Tasks

* Lead the planning and implementation of the project as well as facilitating the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
* Define project tasks and resource requirements as well as developing full scale project plans
* Assemble and coordinate the project team and provide ongoing direction and support to the team
* Assist with the implementation of the new ERP system
* Manage project budget as well as project resource allocation
* Plan and schedule project timelines and manage risk, assumptions, dependencies and issues
* Quality assurance and continuous improvement
* Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
* Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
* Responsible for project evaluations and assessment of results
* Establish effective relationships with contractors, suppliers and business stakeholders across all allocated project

Qualifications and Experience Requirements

* A qualification in project management or equivalent would be advantageous - Prince 2
* At least two years' experience of managing a portfolio of projects and working with Senior stakeholders preferably from within a manufacturing environment
* Full understanding of the project management lifecycle
* Detailed knowledge of creating and maintaining project documentation using standard MS suite or PM tools
* Experience in implementing MRP/ERP systems, ideally Winman
