Role Overview
We are looking to expand our Training team at our Bristol site and are looking for 2 bright and enthusiastic Trainers to delivery high standards of training to our agent population.
You will lead and enhance customer and employee experience through the provision of innovative and engaging training and development. You will support multiple business areas and create and maintain strong and effective working relationships with internal functions, clients and prospects.
The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Quality team to identify key areas for improvement and take a conjoined approach with the operational function to deliver consistently high results.
Successful Trainers provide training and coaching support across a wide range of skills including product knowledge, technical and systems and soft skills training across multiple channels of communication. Previous experience of working with a train operating company would be advantageous.
Key Tasks/Responsibilities
Deliver training in a facilitative style
An open approach to delivery and positively handle objections
Considerate of all learning styles
Deliver interactive training using the common contact types of the campaign
Using a range of methods and activities to ensure learning aims are met
Use simple language for a clear understanding
Deliver training that is practical and ensures trainees are ready to do the job when they go live
Training needs analysis to ensure an impact
Design with the learner in mind
Keep up to date with client and internal changes and amend material appropriately
Use internal best practice to design training that any trainer can deliver
Design within tight timescales
Use the Kirkpatrick method of evaluation
Complete post training reporting and action appropriate next steps
Use a closed loop approach with Quality and Operations to ensure all training is focused to the common call types of the campaign as well as any process changes or product changes
Maintain a high standard of clear and brief written communication
Liaise with Operations to agree training needs
Inform campaigns about L&D offerings
Structured monthly meetings with Quality and Operations
