An opportunity has arisen for an Asbestos Health and Safety Trainer

Monday to Friday 40hrs per week

Main Duties:
- To conduct internal and external training courses as required
- Present company inductions monthly
- Asbestos trainer to a Licensable standard
- NVQ assessments
- Identify training needs for clients
- Conduct training needs analysis on internal staff
- Generate new business opportunities
- Maintain up-to-date presentation slides and training literature
- Represent Shield at conferences and general meetings
- To work with the Training team to progress departmental and company objectives
- Create new training courses as and when needed
- Participate in departmental meetings
- Support the Auditing function as appropriate
- Support Technical Department with Asbestos related technical matters, such as policy and procedure review as needed.

Qualifications and experience:
- Experience of the construction industry
- Other training/teaching qualifications
- BOHS qualification(s) in asbestos removal, surveying or management
- I.T. literate (Word, Excel, Outlook & Power Point)

Other qualities and requirements:
- Public speaking
- Demonstrable training skills
- A good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
