Paraplanning Manager
£40,000 - £45,000 + benefits
West Surrey
Key role managing and overseeing a small, professional technical support team of Paraplanners. Ensuring a high quality research and report writing, ensuring compliance with FCA regulatory and company compliance standards.
Ensuring effective workflow management, quality control, due diligence
Providing a source of technical expertise and referral.
Providing advice on products research and investment strategies
Preparing suitability reports
Preparing client annual reviews
Monitoring fund selection models
Working with Financial Planners and Directors to support project work
Skills and experience required:
Degree standard of education - Finance or Accountancy related is ideal
Diploma in Financial Planning, and working towards Chartered status; the company has a very positive culture of continuous learning and development, and is very support of study
5 years + experience within a technical Paraplanning role, with a confident knowledge of pensions, including transfers, drawdowns, investments, income protection
Up to date knowledge of FCA compliance and due diligence
Confident knowledge of fund analysis tools
Strong client communication skills
Proven team leadership skills - confident to undertake 1-2-1's, guide and mentor
