New role, expanding holiday park and fantastic earning potential! This opportunity is with a well established, family run organisation in a growing park with occupancy expansion and the addition of new facilities on the cards and an attractive, achievable commission package. The park is located near Skipton, North Yorkshire. You will be working as part of a team to deliver a top notch customer experience even prior to first contact with the park by raising the profiles locally of both the park and the sales team individually in order to attract new business to the park.
In the Sales Executive job, Skipton, North Yorkshire you will:
* work to annual and monthly targets for caravan holiday home/lodge sales and maintaining a healthy pipeline
* be responsible for maintaining five-star customer service standards and all customer contacts
* be responsible for self-generated local level marketing, promotion and networking to create interest and generate sales leads, with strategic and national level support from the Marketing Manager
* manage after-care and customer fulfilment
* maintain effective liaison between suppliers, staff within the sales department and other park departments
* effectively manage the park stock list
* have responsibility for the standards of presentation of all caravan holiday homes and lodges
* represent the park at off and on park marketing activities such as shows and caravan eventspro-actively prospect new and existing prospects via face to face activity and over the telephone
* create, manage and track promotional campaigns for the park
To be successful in the Sales and Promotion Executive (caravans) job, Skipton, North Yorkshire you will need:
* a proven successful track record in a consultative sales position, ideally in the leisure industry
* experience of generating your own leads
* to be highly motivated and take a proactive approach to your duties
* to have excellent IT skills
* be able to demonstrate creativity and familiarity with regard to promoting services
* excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
* to live or be willing to relocate within daily commuting distance of the park
On offer in return for your skills and enthusiasm is a realistic and achievable OTE of £40-£45K/year, with top performers earning substantially more, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays in lieu. OTE of £40000-£45000 includes a basic salary of £18000 plus commission. This is not a live-in position.
During peak times (mainly summer holidays, Easter and bank holidays), this is a 6 day/week role including weekends. Off-peak times it is 5 days/week including weekends. During the closed period (mid-Jan - 1st March) it is 5 days per week with no weekends. Working hours throughout the year are 9am-5pm with some additional time possibly required for marketing activities outside of these hours.
