The Company:

The Role:
- Booking freight Issuing loading instructions for relevant transporter
- Experience in logistics in EU/Mid East/Asian/Latam logistics
- Knowledge of handling of drums, IBC and Totes etc
- A combination of Mid-East , Asian logistics experience useful
- Ability to handle a number of files at the same time
- Ability to switch logistics regions if requested eg from EU to Mid East
- Organizing orders from beginning to end independently
- Entering PO/SO details into ERP system
- Advising customers of shipping details and if any problems
- Dealing with problems on loading or unloading with terminal, transporter and customer
- Liaising with finance staff in reconciliation of freight costs and invoice queries
- Minimizing potential demurrage costs and settling any demurrage claims
- Preparing documents for LC submission
- Liaising weekly with Head of Logistics & Head of trading on progress and issues on ongoing operations
- Maintaining up-to-date clean files of all own operations
- Supporting other team members if needed / Cover team members when on holiday
- Possible progression to Bulk vessel Chartering (long term)
- Heavy communication with Customers/Carriers
- Multitasking and Problem solving

The Candidate:
- Fluent in English
- Significant previous experience in European Transport planning or Freight forwarding essential
- Understanding of Import/Export logistics procedures
- Able to work under own initiative & team
- Dynamic and Energetic individual
- Organized & excellent communicator
- High level of Customer service at all times
- Fast thinking

The Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
