Preventative Maintenance Manager Derbyshire

£55,000 - £60,000 Bonus (8%), Pension, Healthcare, Holidays, Life Insurance

An established Global Manufacturer is currently seeking a Preventative Maintenance Manager to work with a team large Maintenance team to reach maximum long term availability /reliability of the equipment and installations in the plant by implementing the appropriate preventative maintenance actions in accordance to the compliance and H&S regulations.

As the Preventative Maintenance Manager you must possess the ability to ascertain the highest standards of the employees on site. The successful candidate will have a proven background of plant reliability, preventative maintenance and staff development.

Responsibilities of the Preventative Maintenance Manager

- Supporting the Maintenance Manager with managing the monthly budget weekly/monthly/quarterly reports.
- Managing continuous improvement in line with the yearly plant target targets together with the team.
- Lead and improve the performance of the maintenance crews ensuring motivation, competencies and skills development to prepare successors.
- Manage major corrective maintenance actions, critical spare parts, optimal stock levels and plant annual shutdown programs in accordance
- Effective supervision of all areas of maintenance operations (Mechanical, Electrical & Inspection).
- Coordinate with production and engineering the special production projects that go through the fabrication shop
- Oversee the maintenance department and assure all preventative maintenance, scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance activities are complete for processes, equipment, and facilities.
- Identify, communicate & implement opportunities for continuous improvement

Essential requirements for the Preventative Maintenance Manager

- Degree qualified or equivalent (HNC/ONC) Mechanical or Electrical
- Heavy industry background (Concrete, Steel, Cement or Power/Nuclear)
- Continuous improvement Reliability processes/Preventative maintenance
- Managing, training and developing large teams
