LSA with British Sign Language experience

Are you looking for a rewarding role supporting children with Special Educational Needs? If so, we would like to hear from you!

We are proud to work with a 'Good' SEN school in the heart of Leicester City which caters for students aged 4-19 who have a range of complex and moderate learning difficulties.

They are currently seeking a Learning Support Assistant with British Sign Language experience to support across Primary and Secondary. This is an ongoing role with the potential to become permanent.

The ideal candidate for this role will:

- Have experience of supporting pupils with special educational needs
- Have BSL experience and ideally hold a qualification
- Have recent experience of working in a school environment
- Be creative, proactive and flexible in their supporting style

Responsibilities:

- Supporting pupils both inside and outside of the classroom
- Supporting the class teacher
- Ensuring safeguarding of students
- Working proactively with other team members
