Pawson Transport are a family run business based near Rotherham. Due to continued growth we are looking to recruit HGV class 1 drivers working various shifts to include a 4 on 4 off shift ,night shifts and afternoon shifts. All with the opportunity to work extra hours. This is a great opportunity for newly qualified drivers and experienced drivers alike to obtain regular work

- Knowledge of drivers hours and Work Time Directive
- Knowledge of tachograph compliance
- Experience of working within a high volume customer service environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written

Role Purpose

The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of goods nationwide to customer sites in a timely and professional manner, whilst keeping within relevant legislation for drivers hours and Working Time Directive (WTD).

Key Accountabilities
- Ensure vehicle is loaded safely and correctly
- Ensure vehicle is in a roadworthy condition
- Delivery of loads on time and in full
- Maintain Working Time Directive (WTD) records
- Ability to work on own
- Complete any necessary paperwork as required
