Great opportunity for an experienced 1st Line IT Support Engineer to join the IT team at an automotive aftermarket parts supplier at their new distribution centre in North Derbyshire.

As a 1st Line IT Support Engineer you will provide desktop technical support, answer support queries via phone, email and in person whilst maintaining a high degree of customer service on-site. For approx. 12 months you will also be supporting another site in the UK that will be closing down.

* Commutable from Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire & South Yorkshire.
* c£19-£21k+ genuine good benefits package
* Monday to Friday day role with some flexibility
* Suitable experience required as either 1st Line IT support Technician, IT Support Engineer, IT Infrasture Engineer

Hands on experience and skills with IT hardware is required as well as the following:

* Assist with Active Directory (AD) and Exchange mailbox creation
* VOIP and mobile phone configuration
* Good knowledge of Windows 7 10 and Office 2010 2016
* Desktop support (including but not limited to workstation, notebook, printer, other desktop hardware and all company software)

Duties and Responsibilities 1st Line IT Support Engineer:

* 1st Line Service Desk Support
* Adhere to all IT Service Management principles to take ownership of user incidents and have a proactive rather than reactive approach
* Administration of Group Server and Network infrastructure
* Analysis of IT hardware and software
* Ensure all technical documentation is updated and maintained
