We are looking for an experienced Pensions Administrator who is able to do manual benefits calculations/transfers and is used to checking other peoples work. You will be confident in processing benefits and/or transfers.

The role will involve:
Maintaining and building relationships with a portfolio of clients and carrying out a variety of transactions
Administering work generated by Investors, Advisors, third parties and internal teams
Being responsible for managing your own delegated workload, prioritising your activity within the agreed SLAs
Taking ownership of work and any issues which arise
Communicating in a clear and concise manner
Accurately updating all systems and records
Highlighting any business process improvement ideas to your Manager

Interested? What skills do you need?
Experience of manually calculating and processing benefits (income drawdown) or transfers in a pensions environment.
Current knowledge of full legislative and regulatory requirements relating to benefit and transfers
Used to checking the calculations of other team members and providing remedial coaching where appropriate
Strong customer service skills, strong written and verbal communication
Good attention to detail
Ability to work as a team player and also independently with a flexible attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent time management and ability to work to deadlines
Knowledge of financial services and investment products
