DevOps / Platform Engineer - £50-55K - Manchester

Our client based near Manchester is currently looking for a skilled Devops / Platform Engineer with experience of migrating systems to the Cloud (ie Azure / AWS)

As a successful candidate you:
* Can quickly write a bash script for almost anything.
* Are familiar with the entire stack and think DevOps is the future.
* Make things work and finish the job properly.
* Leaves things better than you found them.
* Write a script for anything you've done more than twice.
* Can't go to sleep if a production system isn't perfect.
* Love to learn new things and do so quickly.
* Don't just use other people's code, but write your own.
* Make great decisions, but know when to ask for advice.

Desirable Skills & Experience
* Windows and/ or Linux Server administration
* VMware
* Solid working knowledge of networking
* Experience of DevOps culture and working practices.
