I am recruiting a Quality Manager to work within this expanding East Yorkshire based food manufacturer.

This is a site based role with very occasional customer site visits required.
The business has an existing wealth of technical and quality capability and is looking for someone who is keen to join and develop in a stable and rewarding business environment.

THE ROLE:
The Quality Manager is responsible for the issuing and maintaining Company Quality Manual and relevant documentation as well as dealing with customers, assisting or resolving any issues or questions coming from suppliers and customers.

The Quality Manager is also responsible for issuing and maintaining of customer specifications, performing of internal hygiene audits and supplier assessment audits.

Other areas under the Quality Manager include:

* Implementation and development of Quality Systems
* Management of laboratory activity
* Management of laboratory infrastructure and maintenance contracts associated with this
* In-house training for Laboratory, Hygiene and HACCP

THE CANDIDATE:
* Previous experience of working in a food manufacturing business
* Knowledge of latest BRC version and HACCP and working to maintain accreditation.
* IT literate and strong communication skills.
* Confident and able to deal with all levels within a business and customer base.
