An experienced OPERATIONS MANAGER is sought to manage the growth & development of a manufacturer of short shelf life foods supplied to an impressive range of leading brand name customers.

As the OPERATIONS MANAGER you will be required to discharge the following duties & responsibilities:
Manage a work force of circa 150 within a 24/7 production environment
Promote and drive forwards a continuous improvement culture
Implement lean & modern manufacturing methodology across the business
Ensure efficient machine & staff utilisation to achieve the production plan
Monitor & analyse KPIs within manufacturing (including OEE)
Identify, investigate and rectify shortfalls in productivity or accuracy across production
Ensure that product quality & industry standards are maintained throughout the business

The successful OPERATIONS MANAGER will be able to demonstrate:
Production or Operations Management within food manufacturing
Satisfying customer demand within the parameters of quality, cost & timescale
Planning machine utilisation & staffing
Implementing Modern manufacturing methodology Lean, TPM, TPS, 8D
Improving efficiencies and reducing costs
Managing business growth related operational issues

This exciting position will ideally suit an experienced Production bias or OPERATIONS MANAGER looking to make a meaningful contribution to the growth of a business in return for realistic opportunities for career and personal development. In return a salary in the region of £45,000 is offered with a benefits package.
