An International Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Company which has gained significant experience across a wide section of construction sectors is seeking to recruit a Mechanical Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Operations Manager the successful candidate will:

To manage all aspects of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning
Project Planning
Project Execution
Project Coordination; Coordination Drawing Production.
Project Commissioning & Handover
Managing Building Management Systems Subcontractors
Managing Direct Labour Force and Subcontractors
Project Cost Control
Project Cash Control
Project Valuations
HVAC Subcontractor Cost Management, Monthly certification & payment
RIAI & GDLA form of contracts and their application.
Pricing & submitting Variations/Change Orders & maintaining Variation/Change Order Schedules
Final Accounts Preparation, Negotiation & agreement
LPHW, Chilled Water, Process pipework, compressed air & gas pipework costing.
Insurance & tax in the construction industry.

Candidate Profile:

A Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
8 years experience in the field of mechanical contracting including some experience in a similar role.
Must be computer literate as appropriate to the role - Minimum Word, Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project.
It would be an advantage if the candidate could do planning using Primavera and/or MS Project
