Position: Finance Business Partner
Location: Exchange Quay, Manchester
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.45am 5.15pm
Salary: £Negotiable (dependent on experience)

About the role:

The purpose of this role is to assist the Head of Business Partnering and act as a business partner across every aspect of the business and to assist in the strategic and operational decision making of the Group`s products and cost centres. This diverse role will interact with all areas of the business including, SIPP administration, stockbroking, investment management and media services.

Responsibilities:

- Provide analysis and financial modelling to product owners to enable support on strategic and operational decision making.
- Pricing analysis on key strategic products and funds.
- Help to deliver performance management tools for product owners.
- To lead and manage projects and initiatives working directly with product owners.
- Provide analysis and financial modelling to cost centre owners to support strategic and operational decision making.
- Target and drive business efficiencies in line with the Group`s target operating model.
- Help to deliver performance management tools for product owners.
- To lead and manage projects and initiatives working directly with product owners.
- Act as key contact for cost centre managers.
- Assist in the preparation company`s annual budgeting process for product and cost centre owners.
- Work closely with the Budget and MI team to ensure requests are delivered in a timely manner.
- Help to prepare monthly information for treasury management meetings.
- Provide financial model to assist strategic and operational decision making.
- Pricing analysis on pay away rate to clients.
- Group supplier management.
- Key involvement in delivering the Finance department strategy.
- Ad hoc projects and requests.

About you:

- Strong financial modelling and analysis skills.
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with extensive Finance Business Partnering experience.
- Interest in the Financial Services Sector, but experience not essential.
- Able to communicate the wider financial impact of business decision making to senior management.
- Understanding of IFRS.
- Planning, organisation and time management skills.
- Logical mind-set; able to solve problems.
- Attention to detail.
- Conscientious and methodical approach to work.
- Highly numerate.
- Team player.
- Flexible and highly motivated.
- Proactive approach, ability to work unsupervised.
