Automotive MET Technician Required For Vehicle Accident & Repair Centre - Southampton Area.

Our Client, A Vehicle Accident Repair Centre based in the Southampton area is looking to hire a multi skilled MET Technician to join their team at their brand new site.

The successful applicant will be required to fit and strip both mechanical and body parts from automotive vehicles including body panel, interiors, gear boxes etc. as well as remove engines, gearboxes, suspensions and carry out four wheel alignments.

Ideally suited to a smart repair technician who must have a positive attitude and flexible approach to work, you will be working in an exclusive, transparent, modern environment and will be encouraged to support the ongoing success of your career through development and training.

Main Responsibilities:

* Identifying the extent of damage
* Accessing and removing damaged components
* Installing new components
* Using welding and soldering equipment
* Ensuring the vehicle is in working order

Hours:

Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm & 1 in 4 Saturdays 7am - 12pm

Salary & Benefits:

* Up to £37,440 Depending On Experience
* 22-25 days Holiday plus Bank Holidays

Requirements:

The successful applicant will have experience in the vehicle accident repair industry and ideally have experience in stripping and fitting - panel beating or painting damaged cars but with a passion to move forward and gain multi-skills.
