CNC / Manual Turner / Programmer

Highly skilled manual and CNC Turner / Programmer required for permanent role in precision engineering environment. Producing mainly on off and small batch parts the role will be both challenging and interesting.

As the CNC Turner you will:
Work in a busy machine shop environment
Program, set tooling and operate a Fanuc controlled CNC lathe
Work to engineering drawing to produce small batch and bespoke components
Undertake quality checking of all engineered parts
Work to production targets and deadlines
Work with a range of materials including stainless steel and aluminium

As the CNC / Manual Turner / Programmer you will:
Ideally be apprentice trained
Able to undertake both CNC and manual turning
Familiar with working to tight tolerances and in a range of materials
Have experience of screw cutting
Used to producing one off and short batch products
Able to read and interpret drawings
Previous experience within precision engineering
