Rate/Salary: £13.25

Hours:8.30-5pm Monday to Thursday with 30 minutes for lunch
8.30-12.30pm Friday = 36 hours

Is a friendly, family run business, whose facilities provide the latest in technology and design. They currently have an opportunity for someone to join their skilled workforce who can become a valued member of staff.

Main responsibilities
*To be fully conversant with programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
*Knowledge of Hurco, Mazak and Fanuc control systems desirable but not essential
*Be able to set, operate and programme one-off's, small and medium batch quantities
*Willing to train in offline programming
*Have the ability to produce precision components from a variety of engineering materials
*Produce components within a cost-effective time-frame
*The ability to read and understand engineering technical drawings
*Conversant with all necessary measuring equipment
*Able to work under own initiative and capable of working with limited supervision
*Self-inspection
*Required to work within a detailed ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS)
*Have the ability to communicate with people at all levels and work pro-actively as part of a team
*Take part in training provided
*Be responsible for working in a clean and tidy manner adhering to Health & Safety requirements
*Any other duties as required
