Merchandiser Team Leader
Location: Carlisle
Contract: Permanent Full Time
Pay: Competitive salary

Our client is currently looking to recruit a Merchandiser Team Leader to join their sales team in the Carlisle area. You will be part of a fast growing team of dedicated merchandisers providing high quality retail support to a varied client base. As a Team Leader you will be supervising and supporting a small team of merchandisers to ensure they deliver world class customer service to all clients. The role will also involve visiting client stores to review merchandising within the store and rearrange displays appropriately in line with sales reports.

The team leader role is varied so utilises various skills from management to creating eye catching display within customer stores. You will need to be organised and have an eye for detail & comfortable communicating both written and verbally.
Experience in merchandising, retail and a customer service back ground is essential. You will need to be comfortable with taking merchandising material into stores. This role will also involve monitoring KPI's and make sure the team are meeting their targets collectively and individually.

Due to the nature of the role it is an advantage to have your own transport.

This role will involve regular overnight stays and occasional weekend work.

Key responsibilities include:

-To ensure Merchandiser are adequately inducted, trained and coached to achieve the highest standards
-To positively represent the company, fostering good relationships with employees and clients at all times
-Providing excellence customer service
-Maximizing sales by providing full availability of product
