Class 1 HGV Drivers - Basildon.

Igloo are a specialised recruitment agency supplying staffing solutions to companies in the automotive and transport sector.

Our client has new, exciting opportunities for Class 1 drivers to join their existing workforce of drivers. Due to the vast success and expansion of my client, they are recruiting drivers on an on-going basis. We are able to offer regular work to drivers, and are able to provide work to those who only require the odd shift.

Salary: PAYE Drivers - £11 to £15.25

LTD Drivers - £13 to £19

Start Date: ASAP Immediate starts available!

Shift Pattern: Various shift patterns available; mornings, late afternoons and nights. The average shift length is around 10-12 hours.

The main purpose of the job:

To move/deliver products across the UK, using box and double decker trailers. In this role, there will be trunking and store delivery work, you will also ensure that driving regulations are adhered to. For this position you will have to complete a site induction and pass a driving assessment.

What were looking for:

Essential Youll hold a full UK C+E licence and have held it for 2 or more years, this is due to insurance reasons. Youll have no more than 6 points for minor motoring offenses. Youll also hold a valid drivers CPC card which is up-to-date and have a digital Tachograph card. Youll need to be fluent in English as communication is key within this role. You will have good geographic knowledge of the UK.
