This is a great opportunity for an experienced Contract Structural CAD Technician to join a successful- well established Civil and Structural Design Consultancy based in Glasgow on a contract basis. Working on an interesting mix of Residential, Commercial and Mixed Use building structures ventures you will be required to work on a range of projects small and large producing structural engineering drawings/general arrangements. It is essential that you can detail using concrete and are able to produce rebar schedules.

In order to be considered for this Contract Structural CAD Technician role you will;

* Have gained a HND/HNC in Civil or Structural Engineering
* You should have a working knowledge of all common construction materials with concrete experience being essential
* 3-4years (or more) experience in a consultancy environment
* You will be proficient in AutoCAD
* Ability to manage incoming and outgoing drawing issues and other documents
* You must be able to produce rebar schedules
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal
