Academics Ltd is an education agency who has been working with primary schools in Warrington for the last 10 years.

We are currently working with an outstanding primary school in Warrington who is looking for a teaching assistant to work 1 to 1 with a 10 year old boy with emotional and behavioural difficulties

They have been allocated funding for a year 6 child with special educational needs.

They are looking for a teaching assistant who can commit to a full time role providing 1 to 1 support, 30 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8.45 am to 3.15pm.

The ideal candidate will have experience of

* Supporting children in Key stage 2
* Supporting children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties
* positive behaviour management strategies such as PRICE or TeamTeach would be beneficial
* Ideally supporting boys with SENd
* understanding current SEN policies and implementation of Education Health Care Plans
* working as a positive team player, sharing best practice and working collaboratively
* Experience of working in an outstanding school would be beneficial

As an Academics Teaching Assistant you will need

* 6 weeks experience in an environment working with children with special education needs
* Details of someone who can provide a reference on request to account for your experience of working with children
* A positive can do attitude
* Immediately available to commit to long term full time work with vulnerable children
* To be able to work 8.30am to 3.30pm
* Teaching assistant qualifications would be beneficial
