Site Manager
Location: Wrexham
Salary: £40,000 plus £5,000 car allowance and benefits and performance bonus
Immediate start!

Our client is currently recruiting for an Site Manager or a No2 Site manager on a permanent basis and will be based on a site in Wrexham. The scheme is a New build project, so we are looking for someone with a New Build background however a Refurbishment background will also be considered.

The Role

The Site Manager reports directly to the Project Manager and will also report to the Construction Director on all matters relating to the day to day running of the development
Duties
·Deal with Pre-start meetings and assist the Site Manager in accepting and checking the full build package
·Assist with ensuring that Health & Safety procedures are strictly adhered to
·Maintain and produce, up to-date Health & Safety records
·Assist with ensuring cost effective production in line with development budgets by ensuring that the work undertaken is in full accordance with the cost provision allocated
·Assist with regular site production meetings and pre-plan and ensure efficient usage of all resources
·Ensure accurate production/progress returns are updated
·Ensure H&S, Environmental & Waste Policies are adhered to
·Ensure practical completions are formulated with sales to ensure mutual compatibility
·Ensure site security and good practice is maintained always
·Deliver sensible level of stock control in accordance with build requirements including proper checking and recording of deliveries
·Ensure sub-contractors work to the required specification
Take ownership of agreed build programmes
·Ensure plots are finished to high standard by taking ownership of plots until completion

Previous experience working in a New Build environment

Good man-management skills
Ability to liaise with internal and external personnel
Ability to meet deadlines
Enthusiastic
Attention to detail
CSCS card, First Aid, SMSTS
