Data Migration Manager

We are working with a well known organisation based in Winsford. This is a fixed term contract running until April 2018 with the potential of the contract being extended.

Oracle exposed Data Migration Manager required for the Data Migration stream of a large scale Programme of work in a continually growing organisation. The role will include management of data extraction from source systems, transforming / conversions and data cleansing and all preparation activities.

You will be required to display an excellent track record of the following skills in your recent roles as a Data Migration Manager in order to be successful with your application;

Job responsibilities
* Exceptional stakeholder management and engagement skills
* Experience of managing large and complex data management programmes
* Line management experience of managing a team of data analysts
* Been through a number of different data migration projects
* Understand the use and importance of data profiling products, databases and architecture
* Understand at a high level some data conversion languages
* Responsible for all transformed data entities
* - Data Technical and Functional Specifications
* Data archiving strategy
* Data stream reporting
* All test data necessary to support the programme migrated to ORACLE Cloud

Ideal candidate
* Will have Data Migration experience (preferably Oracle EBS to Oracle Cloud) and/or Apex (Oracle Applications Express)
* Experience of working within the public sector is desirable
* Experience of working on large sized projects.
