Are you an Estimator looking for a new career within the manufacturing industry? Or do you have an interest in manufacturing and would like to pursue a career as an Estimator?

Ellis Mason have the pleasure of recruiting an estimator for a busy company based in East Hertfordshire.

As the Estimator, you will play a key role producing estimates and providing plans using the companys` bespoke software package.

This role is being offered on a permanent, full time basis.

The salary for this position is £25,000-£30,000 per annum depending on experience

The job...

As the Estimator, your role will involve the following important duties:

Receiving enquiries

Preparing plans using the companys software (JMS 2)

Processing drawings to provide quotes

Managing the sales process and keeping customers updated

Providing a schedule for the manufacturing process

Ensuring orders are placed for essential materials

Building and maintaining customer relationships

On-site visits providing advice to customers and listening to their requirements

The role is a Monday to Friday based position that requires you to work the hours of 8am to 4.30pm daily.

The experience required

You will need to be computer literate, have a helpful and enthusiastic personality and be willing to learn new computer systems and software. Previous experience as an estimator is desirable however, a keen interest within joinery/manufacturing and the willingness to train for progression is essential.
