Motor Trade Jobs / Automotive Vacancies: Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Required For Main Car Dealership - High Wycombe

Our client, a busy Main Car Dealership in the High Wycombe area, is currently seeking a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their productive and successful Automotive Service team.

You will ideally live within the High Wycombe area, or be able to travel to the High Wycombe area and not only be fully qualified as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, but also used to and experienced in working within a Main Car Dealership Automotive Workshop.

You will be fully competent in the service and repair of vehicles to the highest of standards. You will have a positive "can do" attitude and be willing and able to work as part of a team. Being a good team player is essential in this role, you must be able to communicate to a very high level to ensure the smooth flow of work through the workshop, liaising with your colleagues to ensure customer expectations are met and in most cases exceeded.

Main Duties Will Include:
Examining vehicles to determine malfunctions using appropriate automotive technology and diagnostic equipment
Assisting other technicians in developing their skills and competencies by providing technical support and coaching
Liaison with customers
Testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturers' standards
Developing investigative strategies
Disseminating technical information
Providing technical support to manufacturers' technical departments

In order to be considered for this role, applicants will need to be fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and be experienced working within a Main Car Dealership. Whilst not essential, having a current and valid MOT Smart Card would be of great benefit to applicants.
