Job Title: Training Advisor Employability
Responsible To: Performance Manager
Department Employability
Division Operations
Summary of main responsibilities
1.Deliver and assess accredited learning programmes to unemployed learners aged 16+
2.To ensure learners are safe
3.To administer the programmes, completing all necessary paperwork to a compliant and quality standard
Work closely with other Babington divisions to support Employability growth.
Principle accountabilities:
To provide learners with an engaging induction on to programme.
To undertake a thorough initial assessment with learners and agree an individual learning plan that meets their needs, is SMART and progresses them to their goals
To design and deliver engaging lessons that provide differentiation, meet the needs of all learners in the groups, achieve good learning outcomes and are of Grade 2 quality
To conduct regular and timely reviews with learners as per the standard operating model, reviewing progress and setting SMART targets accordingly, and providing additional learner support as required
To be responsible for learner attendance, carrying out all internal processes and ensuring targets are achieved
To maintain engagement of learners on programme to ensure that retention targets are met
To plan delivery and assessment in a thorough scheme of work and achieve timely success targets
To promote Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety to learners at all times
To ensure that all evidence meets the requirements of authenticity, consistency, validity, currency and sufficiency
To ensure all assessment paperwork and records are completed accurately and regularly with less than 1% reported as non-compliant.
To ensure that quality standards are consistently applied in accordance with Awarding Organisations, Common Inspection framework and National Occupational Standards for Learning and Development
To attend training sessions as suggested by the Internal Verifier and Operational Performance Manager to ensure continuous improvement in assessment practice
To attend Standardisation Meetings to ensure and share good practices within the assessment team and evaluate the effectiveness of resources, materials and delivery methods.
To maintain professional standards at all times in line with internal capability, confidentiality, disciplinary and safeguarding policies and procedures
Any other duty which, from time to time, may reasonably be required to meet the needs of Babington Business College.
Confidentiality
The post holder must maintain the confidentiality of information about clients, staff and other Babington Group stakeholders. Some work is of a confidential nature and information gained must not be communicated to other persons except in the recognised course of duty. The post holder must meet the requirements of the Data Protection Act at all times.
