About the Role
We're recruiting an experienced ER Officer to join our People Operations team. This role will be based out of our Nottingham Office with regular travel to our Head Office in Walsall. You will provide dedicated support to our office based contact centre functions that support our field based Gas and Water engineers to ensure they provide exceptional service to our customers.
This is a hands-on role where practical HR solutions are essential, along with a passion for providing a first class service to the business.. Duties to include end to end case management of a broad spectrum of ER activity such as grievances, disciplinary, absence management and capability, providing HR guidance to line managers, identifying ER trends and making recommendations to improve process and management capability and providing support to the wider HR function as needed.

About You
You're a HR professional with experience in a similar role. You'll have an excellent knowledge of employment legislation and proven experience in ER case management. With a pragmatic and analytical approach, highly customer focussed, you will be effective at engaging with and influencing stakeholders at all levels and have the ability to adapt your style depending on the situation / audience.
Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision, you're a team player and enjoy being a part of a collaborative environment where you can bounce ideas off your peers. You enjoy challenging the status quo and providing innovative and fresh solutions, and thrive in a fast paced and ever changing environment. Ideally, you'll be studying towards or already be CIPD qualified, but this is not essential. Experience of NorthGate Resource Link Aurora HR system would also be beneficial.
