We are currently working on behalf of a local authority in Berkshire, to find an experience Senior Transport Engineer. This is a contract role, offering good flexibility and competitive hourly rates.

The post holder will assist with the design and implementation of the Transport Engineering Capital and Revenue funded schemes (approximate total annual value of £1.5 - £5million).You will need to set and monitor budgets and performance against agreed targets. There will also be responsibility for up to three engineering staff within the group and the management of multiple consultants and contractors on and off site.

The work of the post holder will directly impact upon the travelling public in terms of road safety, journey times and improved accessibility, this will need to be communicated appropriately.

Price / Salary: £35 - £50/hour
