An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an OPERATIONS MANAGER with experience working within an EXPRESS PARCELS, PALLET DISTRIBUTION or GENERAL HAULAGE environment based in our clients depot in the DARTFORD area of KENT / SOUTH EAST LONDON.

The role will suit an experienced parcels individual ideally with a CPC NATIONAL, strong man-management skills and used to running 7.5 tonne vehicles and a multi-drop operation. The Operations Manager will sit in between the Traffic Manager and Depot Manager providing direct support across all warehouse and transport functions.

The role will involve making tough decisions, being pro-active, inspirational to your staff and a good leader who is able to deliver excellence at a lowest possible cost. The role will involve the management of 40 staff, plus 44 sub-contract drivers operating on 44 routes collecting and delivering 4000 parcels a day/night.

ROLE : OPERATIONS MANAGER
BASED : DARTFORD area of KENT
SALARY : £30,000 + Quarterly Bonus
OTE : £32,000 TO £34,000
BENEFITS : 20 DAYS HOLIDAYS, PENSION
