F4N Industrial Adviser (South West)
Location: Field based (in Cornwell, Devon, Dorset and Somerset) with requirements to be on-site at Nuclear AMRC (Rotherham), as required (1-2 day per month)
£39,992- £47,722 per annum with potential to progress to £53,691 through sustained exceptional contribution

Fit for Nuclear (F4N) is a unique service which helps UK manufacturing companies get ready to bid for work in the civil nuclear supply chain.
The Industrial Advisor is crucial to the success of the F4N program. The successful candidate will join the Nuclear AMRCs Supplier Development Team in supporting relevant, eligible companies throughout their F4N journey from initial sign up to the programme through to the granting Fit For Nuclear status and post granting support.
This job is field based with extensive travel, including overnight stays. The role holder will be responsible for providing coverage in and around Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall, there may also be a requirement to cover South Wales by exception. The role holder will be required to provide regular updates, including in person, to the Nuclear AMRC.
The ability to travel extensively 10,000 miles per annum is essential
This role requires substantial manufacturing experience and knowledge of working in civil nuclear manufacturing environment. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate previous experience of assessing company capabilities in the nuclear supply chain and hold a diploma in an engineering discipline or can demonstrate equivalent experience.
The role is field based. Strong personal management experience including remote team working is essential with the ability to organise resources, plan and progress work activities whilst in the field.
The candidate must be self-motivated with a keen drive for continual improvement, having the ability to adapt own skills to new circumstances. The candidate must be able to demonstrate and provide examples of, dealing effectively with business leaders showing where they have built strategic business partnerships and collaborations at a senior level. The candidate must have the ability to motivate high performance / deliver change management in companies in order to develop and implement a business excellence culture which demonstrates creative approaches to problem solving which contributes to the delivery of a vision and organisational strategy that aligns with the company objectives.
A strong business acumen and experience of developing and maintaining a network of contacts throughout own work area is also essential.
