Senior Implementation Consultant (Enterprise Software)

Location: London, Central. Limited travel. 90% of clients are London
Salary: £75K - £85K Basic + Excellent Bens Package

Senior Professional Services Software delivery Consultant required by London Head-quartered, global software house.

Would you like to work in a fast-paced, demanding & challenging environment with modern technology that drives business at the forefront?

Would you like to use your scripting, database, server & operating system technical experience to work closely with customer teams to deliver a complex software platform to their IT estates?

We are a growing, small to medium (Circa 180 staff globally) yet well-established technology driven software company operating from very modern offices in the heart of London.

The Professional Services Technical delivery team are experts in making sure the customers get their software delivered in time, to budget & with the custom / bespoke changes they require.

The team are a mix of Technical, Project Management & Business analysis skill sets. We would be looking for similar in this new hire, as a senior member of the team.

Client engagement, delivery, client management & project management is key.

Mostly what we would like to see:

- Service oriented focus to ensure we deliver the best value and software experience to our clients
- Minimum 5 years` experience working in a client facing environment
- Minimum 5 years` experience working in a project orientated and time sensitive environment
- Experience in managing client expectations and issues.
- A proven track record of fast learning on the job with a genuine interest in new technologies and software
- Ability to communicate complex ideas and solutions in a user friendly and easily understandable language
- Experience in one or more UNIX / LINUX Operating Systems.
- Experience in one or more scripting languages such as: Shell, BASH, Python, LUA, Perl, PhP etc.
- Experience in Databases and SQL (MS or Oracle)

A person in this role would benefit from the following:

- Experience in the financial services domain (Investment Banking)
- Experience in data analytics & visualisation tools
- OO Programming skills; any. Java mainly.
