Shift Engineer - Automation/Conveyors - Milton Keynes - £35k to £40k + £4500 Shift

A skilled Shift Engineer is required to support the service maintenance in a technical automated distribution centre.

This position will involve working shifts.

As the Shift Engineer you will require the following skills and experiences;

* Hold an ONC / BTEC, City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 in appropriate subjects Electrical & Mechanical Engineering.
* Knowledge of programmable logic controls (PLC's) ideally Siemens S7.
* Experience of maintaining conveyor systems and various automated machinery.
* A relevant IEE wiring qualification (17th Edition)
* IPAF Licence for Scissor Lift

As the Shift Engineer you will be responsible for the following;

* Undertake breakdown maintenance of site automation as required.
* Carry out PPM of automation equipment and first line fixes of facilities equipment
* Undertake, improvement, repairs and modifications.
* Assist in project installation work including cost reduction activities.
