Lead Service Delivery Manager- working within Service Operations/ Continuous Improvement- SC Cleared - ITIL/ Black Belt/ Six Sigma/ LEAN - required for our public sector client based near Milton Keynes, Bucks - commutable from Northampton, North London, Luton, Bedfordshire

Due to the urgency of the role candidates will ideally hold current security clearance to a minimum of SC Level, DV would be an advantage or be willing to undertake.

As the Service Delivery Team Lead, you will offer a good knowledge of secure IT infrastructure, technical operations and relationship management, as well as having the ability to deal with a broad range of challenging issues under pressure.

Looking for someone with a proven track record of man management. A key element of this role will be to manage a team of up to 13 including experienced Service Delivery Managers and Service Architects. Requires someone with effective management technical, operational, financial and team leadership challenges.

Experience of ITIL is essential and requires someone with service strategy experience. A pivotal aspect of this role is to offer improvements to services already provided as well as encouraging the upsell of services.

Essential Experience:

ITIL Foundation certificate

LEAN/ Six Sigma- Business Improvement

Strong people management skills

Reasonable technical understanding and an ability to translate technical requirements and specifications into easily understood business concepts and vice versa

Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills

Good drafting skills

Good presentation skills

Knowledge of SLAs/OLAs/Contracts and their relationships

Successful track record of achieving performance delivery targets

Ability to develop solutions with focus on customer needs
