My client located on the of Sudbury, Suffolk are currently looking for an Agricultural Engineer to join their team.

This is a temporary - permanent position, paying between £12 - £13 per hour depending upon experience, along with overtime through the week.

The role is very diverse. It's a split between workshop and field based activities. Much of your time will be spent out on the road visiting national clients, you will be required to either install, repair or commission agricultural equipment and generally assisting with any issues you may have been called out for.

The candidate will have a good knowledge of gearboxes, belts, heating elements and be able to weld to a reasonable standard too so it's essential your background is within mechanical engineering, preferably within agriculture. Any electrical background would be favoured but this is not essential.

The Client are a well-established manufacturer of Agricultural machinery that is second to none with only 3 other organisations competing in the UK. From their manufacturing facility in Suffolk, they produce equipment and ship it throughout the UK and Europe.
