Mechanical Project Engineer- Chemicals- North-West- £55-65k+

Are you a degree qualified, chartered Mechanical Engineer, looking to challenge yourself in a demanding, complex chemical manufacturing environment?

A true powerhouse of the chemical industry, have recently created a Mechanical Project Engineer position, based at their established, Top Tier COMAH manufacturing site in the North-West.

Here, you will be offered exposure to lead a true variety of projects, from existing debottlenecking work, to longer term projects to increase tonnage on site, alongside reliability & asset integrity projects.

Given the lean nature of the business, this position carries significant responsibility on site; as such you will be a highly experienced, chartered mechanical engineer, with a track record in leading & implementing a breadth of capital projects, of varying size and complexity, in a similar chemical process manufacturing environment.

Proven in delivering projects from concept through to commissioning, you will also be tasked with providing specialist mechanical engineering support within maintenance, site inspections and implementation of Management of Change

Essential

- Degree qualified Mechanical Engineering background
- Industrial experience gained in a related process industry, either Top or Lower Tier COMAH
- Chartered Engineer
- Track record of leading capital projects of varying size and scope
- Self-starter
