My client, a manufacturer of vehicles in the luxury car market, is seeking to recruit a Programme Project Lead for New Model Launch Programmes.

The Programme Project Lead will be responsible for the end to end management of New Engineering Model Releases.

The ideal candidate will already work within Automotive or Tier 1 sectors and will be accomplished in taking ownership of each new vehicle launch; including build phases, Mission gateway reviews and other milestones and ,manage Material Planning and Logistics across the new Launch function including total spend per launch.

The successful candidate will have worked in a Greenfield facility and be able to map end to end launch processes from inception to completion and will;

*Ensure the smooth transition of engineering changes into the business.
*Be accountable for projecting future model obsolescent material risk and then putting actions in place to minimise this.
*Be Accountable for managing a team of 2+ direct reports. This is an exciting opportunity to utilise current automotive new model launch experience and build a team, within a brand new state of the art facility.

This role will be based at Gaydon for 9 months and will then transfer to St Athan permanently
