Java Developer (contract)

Location: Ipswich

Day Rate: £350 - £400

Contract Duration: Initially 3 months (with possible extension)

TEC Partners are recruiting for a contract Java Developer for a new and exciting role in Ipswich. If Java is your thing, you have experience of working with Oracle, SQL and JBoss, and you want to work with some interesting bespoke software with an established and well-respected company, then this one's for you!

You will be responsible for the design, configuration, unit testing and maintenance of software, working on both stand-alone applications and applications to be integrated with existing software solutions. You'll be working with business units, clients, software partners, vendors and others to provide clients and employees with reliable and efficient servicing systems. This will involve working in a team environment, working with colleagues to share technical, system and business knowledge, and liaising with project managers, business analysts, testers and operational staff.

Ideally, we are looking for the following:

* Experienced Java Developers
* JBoss
* Oracle
* SQL
* Experience of working through the design, development, release cycle and delivery of software systems
* A record of successful delivery of software applications
* Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to work well in a team
* Strong understanding of the software development cycle in Waterfall and/or Agile (Kanban) environments
