Resourcing Group is current recruiting for a Manager on behalf of specialist Domestic Violence charity.

You will be working with experienced providers of Domestic Violence support and advocacy to support women and children fleeing abuse and will become part of a professional and well respected organisation.
Monday - Friday: 9am - 5.00pm

Duties:
* Hold a key role in supporting the Director of DVA (DD) in programme and services development.
* Represent Advance with its partners and funders, raising the profile of Advance and in sustaining and developing a range of partnerships.
* As part of the Domestic Abuse services management team, be responsible for ensuring the implementation of the business plan for services.
* Work with the DD to develop new and existing models of services, based on the values of innovation and high quality, and taking into consideration learnings from current services, the service-user feedback, current research and policy landscape, among others.
* The Manager will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality assurance systems for the domestic abuse services including contract compliance for all services under their line management.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners in the delivery of services, influential policy makers and decision-makes and funders. At all times uphold the strong reputation of and remain professional in conduct.
* Attend, contribute and communicate outcomes from regular strategic and operational meetings and one to one performance review meetings with funders and partners.
* Working with the DD report service outcomes and performance issues and challenges to funders at earliest opportunities and offer solutions/contingencies to solve problems.
* Ensure that service targets are met, and that internal and funder monitoring requirements are achieved, through appropriate management, monitoring and action plans to address and resolve issues.
* Be a proactive and solution focussed member of the Management team.
* Contribute and participate in organisational strategic planning days and in events and fundraising events which help to raise the profile or funds.
* Manage a complex workload working independently, within a team where appropriate and problem solving proactively to find solutions to systems and issues which affect front line services.
* Be responsible for line managing and performance managing project staff with the post holder's responsibility, including annual appraisals and supervision, ensuring staff training and development needs are evaluated and training and learning opportunities are provided.
* Oversee the development of a consistent approach to programme training relevant to team and individual development needs and make recommendations for cross programme and organisational training to develop a strong culture of training and development.
* Instil a sense of unity and purpose into the work of the service through (among others) effective leadership, regular team meetings and review of team performance.
* Monitor the performance of your team and ensure that meets the specific KPIs and outcome measures for the contract, taking appropriate action to manage poor performance as necessary.
* Ensure line managed staff are fully inducted and trained in and adhere to workplace procedures and work within the organisation's case management and performance management framework. This includes supervising client casework to meet agreed standards and to ensure organisational objectives are translated into individual work plans with clear and realisable targets.
* Ensure staff training and development needs are regularly evaluated and that appropriate training, coaching and learning opportunities are provided. Assess the training and development needs of line managed staff, volunteers and students, and work to ensure that they are met.
* Deputise for the DD as necessary.
