Our Client based on the out skirts of Barnstaple are seeking a reliable, motivated and hardworking individual for their plant Operator Position. The role involves operating items of heavy mobile plant and the static processing plant. To be successful in the role, the ideal candidate will be quality assurance focused, be able to liaise with the small site team and liaise the weighbridge clerk to improve material distribution.

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable; however this is not essential as training will be provided but the skills and knowledge needed for this role include the following:

* A good general education standard as there are a large amount of health and safety regulations as well as Quarry Regulations to be fully understood plus adhered to and carried out.

* Certification by MPQC to operate mobile plant and a NVQ level 2 in mobile plant operations will be required & completed for this role.

* Standard IT skills & a basic mechanical knowledge would be advantageous.

The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out the operational duties & inspections for the on the site processing plant. The duties will include the use of manual and computer based systems for the production and distribution. The applicant must be willing to undertake general maintenance duties and be prepared to work unsociable hours when required.

Working Hours: 39.50 hrs
Contract Type: Permanent
Shift Description: 7.00am to 16.00pm Monday to Friday
