An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a growing manufacturer to assist with their engineering requirements. The ideal candidate will be a trainee who is currently studying towards an engineering qualification or degree and is in their 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th year.

THE ROLE

The role will involve fault-finding, machine adjustments, responding to breakdowns, completing maintenance tasks and carrying out various improvement projects, to maintain the efficient running of the site.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will already have some relevant engineering work and experience within a food, pharmaceutical, printing or relevant manufacturing environment involving high speed filling or packaging machinery. They will be studying towards a relevant HNC Level qualification; will have a methodical approach to their work, and have an aptitude for practical engineering and fault-finding. The successful candidate will be a good team player who is able to show initiative.

THE BENEFITS:

This is a training position and remuneration will be in line with the skills and experience of the trainee when they join the company. Support will be given to complete relevant qualifications, with day release if necessary. Internal training will be provided with the aim of the trainee progressing over time to become a fully qualified Multi-Skilled Technician.
