The Client is a Borough Council looking for a Neighbourhood Inspector / Estate Officer to take ownership for the standard and appearance of communal areas on estates by working with residents and members to carry out a comprehensive programme of inspections and where necessary following up any action needed to maintain estates to an agreed standard.

Work with the Maintenance Surveyors, Project Managers and other technical staff to ensure that responsive repairs to communal areas are identified and ordered and Planned maintenance and improvements needed to communal areas and estates are identified and where appropriate included in a programme of works.

Assess service quality and take necessary corrective action in relation to caretaking, grounds maintenance and day to day repairs in order to monitor whether these standards are being achieved.

They are looking for someone with sufficient experience in Estate Inspections, health and safety issues and landlord repairing responsibilities to work independently with little supervision.
Someone who can take the initiative and challenge poor standard of estate cleaning and or poor repairing standards, whilst working collaboratively with contractors and caretakers.
Someone with experience of able to engage with stakeholders, residents, conducting consultations on specific schemes.
Someone with sufficient creativity to come up with ideas for our estate improvement program
