A specialist client who design and supply process equipment and production lines for various customers across the world from industries including: Metal, Glass, Automotive, Building Products, Energy and Food now seek a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team.

The main function of this role is to service, maintain and install a wide variety of rotating process machinery within automated businesses across Europe. The successful Senior Electrical Engineer will be electrically qualified and have a good understanding of Siemens S7 PLCs to programming level (strong fault diagnosis or modification experience may also be considered).

Experience required:

? Machinery installation and commissioning

? Electrical fault finding and understanding

? Ability to read and understand engineering diagrams

? Use of single and 3 phase as well as LV & HV

The successful Senior Electrical Engineer must have a recognised electrical qualification i.e. Apprenticeship or HNC as well as a valid passport.

This role would be most suited to a flexible Engineer with an interest in travel as throughout the year, projects and machinery installations will require some overseas travel with overnight stays up to 12 days at a time.

Most of their clients are overseas and supporting them is the key to the role sometimes these are for minor faults and can be dealt with remotley the other times are to service and maintain machinery which will involve flying in and out of the UK on a weekly basis.

Standard working hours are days (Monday Thursday 8:30am 4pm/Friday 8:30 1pm) but due to the nature of the role, flexibility will be required. In return our client are offering a very competive salary of up to £50,000 plus company pension (up to 8% contribution), private healthcare and 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays).

This role is based within Oxfordshire and commutable from within and around the following areas: Reading, Swindon, Oxford and Newbury.
