Financial Accountant - Stevenage
£40,000 - £45,000 per annum plus 15% Bonus plus Excellent Benefits

This is a rare opportunity, due to impressive staff retention and talent planning, for a driven and ambitious Newly Qualified to add significant value.

Key responsibilities
- Understand financial reporting and drive improvements in accuracy and commentary from business units
- Ensure reporting is consistent across business units and compliant with accounting policies and definitions
- Provide training and guidance to support business unit reporting
- Process owner for consolidation of all management, statutory and planning cycles
- Support cash flow and capital forecasting and reporting
- Monitor KPIs on process adherence and performance
- Build strong relationship with business units contacts to deliver robust and accurate performance reporting
- Support the FP&A Senior Manager with ongoing tracking and reporting
- Other ad-hoc work

The successful candidate will be ACA or ACCA Qualified with previous experience doing a similar role. You will have a good understanding of financial, accounting and reporting processes. You will be able to identify trends and inconsistencies in financial statements and have excellent Excel skills. You will be a driven and committed individual with a strong team ethic, supporting others wherever necessary.
