An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Executive to join one of Londons most exciting bakeries based in South East London. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £25 - £30k basic with OTE of up to £45 , 20 days holiday plus statutory entitlement.
Operating since 2013 we make and sell the best gourmet flavoured chocolate brownies in London. We sell B2B to existing wholesale and corporate customers as well as B2C. With investment from Touker Suleyman (Dragons Den) we have exciting growth plans for 2018.
The Sales Executive will report to the Company Directors and will be responsible for achieving annual sales and margin targets, in support of the companys objectives and business and growth plan as well as developing a stronger relationship with existing partners across our B2B sales.
**The Sales Executives role will involve:**
* Cold calling potential customers and selling the companys delicious products.
* Researching the target market and generating leads across all sectors
* Meetings with potential customers and closing sales.
* Building a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales
* Working to sales and margin targets as set by the Company Directors.
* Work with sales team and colleagues to ensure comprehensive, up to date customer account records are maintained
* Arranging for invoices to be created and sent out to customers following a sale.
* Liaising with bookkeeper to ensure invoices are paid promptly.
* Following up on past customers and cross-selling products.
* Providing assistance to other members of the team when necessary.
* Following up on leads generated by other departments.
* Investigating and resolving queries from customers.
* Managing and growing existing accounts and sales channels
**The successful Sales Executive will have:**
* Previous experience in a sales role for another company is essential.
* Highly self-motivated and organised individual with a hunger to succeed and grow the role.
* Familiarity with using databases / CRM systems
* Outgoing with an ability to build rapport with people of all backgrounds.
* Passion for food and experience
* Proficient IT skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
The basic salary is £25k - 30k per annum. OTE £40k - £45k
Normal hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm with an hour for lunch but we can offer some flexibility.
