Multi-award winning healthcare recruiter ID Medical are looking for an SPR in Anaesthetics with years of experience to fill a position at a hospital in Cumbria.

The doctor will be working in one of the largest specialty in any hospital, coming into contact with over half of patients admitted to hospitals in the UK. Due to this role covering a wide scope of practice, the doctor will be able to use their skills across all aspects of patient care. The doctor will have the opportunity to work autonomously, as well as within a multi-disciplinary team.

Core duties for the Anaesthetics position would include:

* The pre-operative preparation of surgical patients
* The resuscitation and stabilisation of patients in the Emergency Department
* Pain relief in labour and obstetric anaesthesia
* Intensive care medicine
* Transport of acutely ill and injured patients
* Pre-hospital emergency care

Requirements:

* Qualified in Anaesthetics
* Previous NHS experience
* Valid GMC registration
* Current DBS
