Outpatient Department Manager - Maidstone - Permanent - Full-Time - £32000 - £35000

Medicor are pleased to consider applications for the position of Outpatient Department Manager working for our client based in Maidstone on a Permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be registered with the NMC and have Post-registration experience in hospital based setting.
You will need to have the following essential skills and experience for the position; * Registered practitioner with NMC
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Previous management experience required
* Ability to manage, motivate, support, develop and lead a department.
* Competent across a range of clinical skills supported by professional competence and knowledge
* Evidence of success in working in partnership with consultants to explore and challenge existing practices while maintaining and enhancing services and standards.
* A degree of financial awareness with an appreciation of the need to balance the provision of quality care while maintaining a business focus.
* Knowledge of appropriate standards and external bodies, such as the Care Quality Commission.
* Previous experience as a senior nurse or equivalent.
* Up to date knowledge and experience of working in acute medicine/surgery.
* Can analyse and interpret information in an effective manner and exercises sound judgement as a consequence.
* Demonstrates commitment to high standards of patient care and service delivery.
* Is able to demonstrate a recognised approach to staff feedback with an effective and positive response.
* Effective management of staff capability and conduct.
* Management qualification desirable
* Experience of working in the Independent Sector desirable
* Post registration clinical course desirable

This is a Full-Time Permanent position working 37.5 per week working in Maidstone.

The salary for this position is between £32000 and £35000 and is dependent on experience and suitability for the position.
