The role

We are looking for candidates to work for our client a national merchandising services company on specific project work; however, at times we may recruit on a national basis.

The role will involve replenishing stock, setting up promotional stands and general assistance as required.

Most of the shifts that they allocate to their staff teams are nights, however, there may be an opportunity for day shifts. The shifts are usually 12 hours and their busiest time of the week is Sunday (with the supermarkets closing at 4pm this is when we can get most of our work completed.)

We are trying to build teams based around drivers with cars as this is how they mobilise their teams across the country, sometimes they are asked by their clients to provide staff at various times such as 4pm-4am and it is important to us that staff teams can get home after their shifts.

All drivers must be willing to use their car for work, this must be available at all times to the candidate to qualify for the driver rate. Drivers are entitled to expenses, these are as follows: 18p per mile if they travel alone and 25p per mile if they carry passengers. These rates will be paid door to door.

We always endeavour to attain local work for our employees; however, at times our colleagues are required to stay away from home. Our client will pre-pay and book any hotels rooms, this is booked as bed and breakfast based on same gender sharing. If any of our colleagues have family members, they would like to share with this can also be arranged.

Candidates must have a phone with internet access in order to accept and decline shifts as this is how we communicate with colleagues across the business.
