Trainee Estimator (Electrical)

£25,000 - £30,000 + Training + Progression + 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

A great opportunity to join a successful business where you will be fully trained into an Estimator working on prestigious, blue chip sites.

Do you have an electrical background either academically or through hands-on experience? Are you looking to build your career and develop a new skill set?

Established for over 50 years, this company offers complete end-to-end service: from initial design through to site installation and breakdown cover focusing on site safety of software and hardware design and installation, for a variety of industries. In this role, you will be office based and responsible for producing quotes for a range of projects as well as surveying sites for prestigious developments.

You will work closely with skilled members of the team who will train you and pass on their years of knowledge in estimating, surveying and project management. You will be estimating, and surveying a variety of projects to ensure the work is carried out on time and to budget. You will eventually take on additional responsibilities over time.

The ideal person will have hands-on electrical skills and/or formal electrical qualifications and will have worked for building contractors/electrical contractors. You will be motivated by training, the chance to develop your skills and growing into an important role, taking a step back from the tools.

*Experience in electrical contracting industry
